DEADLINE FOR INITIAL ROSTER SUBMISSION IS THURSDAY, MAY 16, 2019 AT 9PM. CORRECTIONS TO JERSEY NUMBERS AND ADDITIONS BEFORE FRIDAY, 12 NOON.
The Roster Rules will be strictly enforced at this event. You are permitted to make changes to your roster until 12 Noon on Friday, May 17, 2019. Your roster will lock at 12:01pm and there will be no exceptions. You will be able to verify your roster on tourney machine by checking the app on Thursday, May 16, 2019. If there is a problem, you must email: [email protected] to make the correction, failure to do so will result in your roster being incorrect.
If you are picking up players to add to your roster, get it done by the roster due date. You will not be able to show up and add players. We intend to make this event fair for everyone and run on time.
How To Create A Roster In The AAU System
1. If you have a roster in Tournament Connect, you can login and click here to select this event to send us your roster
2. If you have not created a roster this year, please login to your account or create a new one 4. The entry fee has been set to zero so you can register for the event and add your roster. Select the Florida AAU State Championship May 17-19, 2019 5. Add your players and coaches to the roster. 6. Once you opt into the event, we will be able to see your roster. 7. All athletes are eligible to participate in the Florida AAU State Championship. If there is a team that is not attending, you may pick the player up without a release and add them to your roster. Register in the Proper Age/Grade15U/9 th Grade Division An athlete can be no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2019. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2018 and who is no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2019 is eligible to play in the 15U/9th grade division.
16U/10th Grade Division An athlete can be no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2019. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 10th grade as of October 1, 2018 and who is no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2019 is eligible to play in the 16U/10th grade division. 7 09/27/2018 17U/11th Grade Division An athlete can be no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2019. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 11th grade as of October 1, 2018 and who is no older than 18 on or before August 31, 2019 is eligible to play in the 17U/11th grade division. 19U/12th Grade Division An athlete can be no older than 19 on or before August 31, 2019. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 12th grade as of October 1, 2018 and who is no older than 20 on or before August 31, 2019 is eligible to play in the 19U/12th grade division. a. Only males may participate as players. b. An athlete may not participate later than the summer following his class graduation from high school. c. An athlete may participate in a maximum of two (2) age/grade divisions of the AAU Boys’ Basketball program for which he can qualify. d. Athletes that compete in more than one age/grade division must compete with the same club until the conclusion of all District Championships. e. Following the conclusion of all District Championships, club/teams may add players to their roster based on the instructions in Rule IV. National Championship, Section K. National Championship Roster. f. Athletes must participate in the district of their residence, or an adjoining district, or as otherwise permitted by the AAU Code. g. May 1st will be the date used to determine a players’ residence in a district |
